Epic 5.2 M050 - epicg.exe?

Epic 5.2 M050 - epicg.exe?

I just went straight from 5.2 F000 to 5.2 M050, and found an extra epic executable in $EPIC_ROOT\bin - epicg.exe

Anybody that could give me a clue about what this one is for?
I did notice a difference in appearance (a bit uglier) and version info in the About Version though:
- epicg.exe: February 23, 2007 (MPLP4-299)
- epic.exe: February 23, 2007 (MPLP5-1044)

Cheers,
Rune K.

Rune,
I don't know the purpose of the epicg.exe file. I downloaded, but never installed (on my laptop at least) the Epic M020 and M030 releases. I did look in the zip files for the two releases and the 'epicg' file was not in the M020 release, but it is in the M030, about three times (~4mb versus ~12mb) the size.
I have Epic 5.3 M020 running on the laptop and there is no 'epicg' file in that release (won't make any claims for previous versions).
Interesting catch.

I did a google search for epicg, and the
only interesting thing was a website that asked how many words you could make
out of "epicg". Unfortunately, I couldn't actually
access the website. So I decided to try it myself. So far:

Epic

Pig

Peg

Pie

Pic(?) are abbreviations allowed?

Cig(?)

Ice

Anybody else?

So far, this is the best use of epicg.exe
that I have found.
