I
downloaded, but never installed (on my laptop at least) the Epic M020 and M030
releases. I did look in the zip files for the two releases and the
'epicg' file was not in the M020 release, but it is in the M030, about three
times (~4mb versus ~12mb) the size.

I have Epic 5.3 M020 running on the laptop and there is no
'epicg' file in that release (won't make any claims for previous versions).

Interesting catch.

Lynn

-----"Rune
Kallhovd" <rka@corena.no> wrote: -----

To: <adepters@maillist.arbortext.com>

From: "Rune Kallhovd" <rka! @corena.no=">

Date: 05/08/2007 03:39AM

Subject: Epic 5.2 M050 - epicg.exe?

I just went straight from 5.2 F000 to 5.2 M050, and found an extra epic
executable in $EPIC_ROOT\bin - epicg.exe

Anybody that could give me a clue about what this one is for?

I did notice a difference in appearance (a bit uglier) and version info in the
About Version though:

- epicg.exe: February 23, 2007 (MPLP4-299)

- epic.exe: February 23, 2007 (MPLP5-1044)

Cheers,

Rune K. >> To unsubscribe from the list, send an email to
listmanager@maillist.arbortext.com with the following in the body: unsubscribe
adepters - For additional information on the adepters list (how to subscribe or
unsubscribe etc), send an email to: listmanager@maillist.arbortext.com with the
following in the body: info Adepters - You may also go to forums.arbortext.com,
enter the Adepters folder and change your subscription options and
preferences.>>

--!
