Graphic Display Issue in Japanese XML files

Hi All,

Does any know of any reason(s) why an EPS or PNG graphic will display in English Western European (Windows)encoding () and not in a Japanese Shift-JISencoding ()?

I am using Arbortext E3 5.1p for rendering.

I have a logo graphic callout in the following tagged format in my XML files; it works in the other encodings but not in shift_jis.

<figureprint><graphic fileref="e014629l.png"/">figureprint>

I greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Horace Burke

Okay folks,

I figured it out. The system was converting the back slashes in graphics path to yen symbol. So, I change the back slashes to forward slashes and that does the trick.

Peace out,
