How to Configure PIs in Arbortext

My requirement is, I need to add and save <?Pub tag delete?> and <?pub Tag Insert?> PIs in to my XML file loading in Epic Editor. When i insert those PIs using Epic.. and When i open the same file from Epic and Save again, The PIs i have added additionally will deleted automatically. How can i retain them when i open and save the XML file second time. Please comment. Thanks

you probably want to check the value of "writepi" in Tool > Preferences > Advanced.

sir, i have configure it into "true"/"yes" to allow save the added PIs.. From that, i can save my PIs into output file. but when i open the same output file(with added PIs) those PIs deleting automatically.. and when saving task.. they are not in my new (second saved) output file.

i'm sorry, i can't find any "delete pis on doc_open" option.
