If we have a EXCEL table and we want to show it direct to ARBORTEXT what is best way to do it

Gareth is right, you can copy and paste from Excel. However, if you want the data to be pulled live from Excel then you want the Data Merge feature. There are two videos on youtube:

Have you tried copy and paste? Out of the box, Arbortext has support for "smart copy/paste" from MS Word but I haven't tested Excel.

Liz is correct, Arbortext 6.1 has the ability to allow you to copy a table and paste into a document, however this is a static version. The alternative Data Merge requires a separate license to use this feature believe, so something to consider.
Ray
Data Merge does not require a separate license, unless you're talking about a license for Excel (or Oracle or SQLServer).
