In 2014, support.ptc stated that IsoView would not be updated or replaced. CreoView is supposed to be able to open .cgm files. Internet Explorer is for backward compatibility only on windows 10; the functionality of Internet Explorer is waning quickly. But because IsoView is ActiveX it does not work in any other browser.
IsoDraw's unique hotspot functions have created powerful customer facing interaction without incredible investment. I would like to know what the path forward has become?
Can i connect an arbortext bill of materials with a creoview cgm's hotspots? Currently when i attempt to open a cgm in creoview, it freezes/crashes. Is there a cgm viewer plugin that can display the hotspots of the cgm in Edge or Chrome as a replacement for isoview in the 64 bit world without the much heavier installation of creoview?
