Hi. We currently are running isodraw 7 m030, and we have compiled a list of issues that we have found worth addressing as we are using it. We have used a prefspath txt file to enable one of our team to administer the system, and all changes cascade to the users. We have found this to be a very good way in which to use this software, but it brings some problems of its own. 1. We are a multi project team and some of our projects are applying to different publication standards. Is there any way in which the file>new> (template) list can be expanded to display more format pages? currently it only allows 10 to be displayed but we for instance use up to 18 different config pages for different standards/publications. 2. Some of our legacy databases dictate that we export .cc4 images at a resolution of 240 dpi. we have noticed that when doing this, any raster data that is not on the background layer will print fine, but on the exported file, will be thickened and slightly pixelated. If the raster is then put on the backgrond layer and re-exported at the same settings, the image is of the quality you would expect. Why does this happen? 3. Is it possible to be able to select multiple points to edit at once? i.e. when trying to extend a group of lines all on the same plane? 4. When sending for a print, IsoDraw always pops behind other windows that may be open, until you minimise>maximise the program? 5. is it possible to have the text menu stay on screen after executing a command rather that keep selecting it every time you need to change face/size/kerning etc? Maybe add these common options to the attributes window? 6. when working at high zoom levels, we have found on a regular basis that isodraw will lock up. I.e. sometimes you can execute 1 command, then will have to minimise>maximise to execute another. 7. Arrow leaders - This to me is a big problem. The way that isodraw draws arrow leaders, you have a constant width shadow around the point of the arrow. This means that using these arrows, the shadow will intrude far beyond the point of the arrow, obscuring data that should be visible. Is there any way to make the arrow leader shadow taper to come to convergance point on the point of the arrow? 8. Object popping - we haqve found that using the keyboard commands, ctrl - works fine, but ctrl + does not. using the right click menu works fine for bring to front, but why does the keyboard command not work? 9. We have experienced saving problems when selecting the manual save. Occasionally the file will not save properly and we get an error messge saying 'error during reading of file '~awkmk128....'' when the actual file name should be 'hawkmk128....'. It replaces the first charactor of the filename with a ~ (tilda) symbol. You can then use the save as command and select the correct file to save and there is no problem.
