Ah yes...
The heady days of
· installing Adept v5 from a stack of3.5 inch floppy discs
· no xml to confuse the issue
· the absolute certainty that the table editor would crash the whole thing at some point during training

<trivia>When Arbortext moved to the buiding near the interstate, there was a tree next to the building that resembled the tree in the logo, although the logo predated the move. I guess the tree came to embody the logo, because we were shocked and saddened when we came back to work after Christmasone yearto find the tree was gone. It had been cut down without notice on Christmas Day to thwart tree huggers, who are numerous in tree-loving Ann Arbor aka Tree Town. A new building was built where the tree had been. And of course eventually the tree logo disappeared as well.</trivia>
