I am helping a new Adept 7.0 User to install a DTD using Document Architect and am experiencing a strange problem. When importing a DTD into Document Architect and saving the DTD, Document Architect is converting the
]> <dtdedit> <chapter> <chaphead></chaphead> <doctype>Current Document Type is: sriabs</doctype> <dtd> to the top of the DTD file and:
</dtd> </chapter> </dtdedit>
to the bottom of the DTD file. Document Architect then has an invalid DTD.
My thoughts are that something strange happened when they installed Adept during the installation of Adept. Before I tell him to deinstall Adept and Reinstall I wanted to see if anyone else has seen this problem and is there a solution beyond reinstalling Adept.
Hi Betty, I had the same problem ... there's a bug in DocArch 7.0; Arbortext has posted a patch to their website and it did fix the problem. Contact Support for info. Mary McRae Mgr, Sales Support Xyvision Inc
