We have a single concurrent license of Styler that we plan to install on our license server. We want to limit access to the Styler license. Is this possible? I wasn't sure when the license got used. In the past when we used Print Composer, we grayed out the Composer options on the non-developer's menu.
I think that when you install Epic on individual PCs, that you can either install Styler or not. If you don't want someone to have access on their PC, don't install it. If you have communal PCs, then you would need to do some profiling.
One way you can restrict the licenses is via the "resourceinfo" file on the license server. In this file, you can restrict licenses to specific users or groups. For Epic 5.1, Chapters 7 and 12 (Windows and Unix, respectively) of the "Installation and Licensing Guide" describe how to do this.
