Styler, PDF Bookmarks, and PDF Direct (or is it DirectToPDF?)

Does Styler's "auto" PDF Bookmarking support PDF Direct? Or do you have to
use Distiller? I've got the checkbox checked on my TOC, but I'm not getting
PDF Bookmarks. I am using Publishing Engine and PDF Direct. (Or Direct To
PDF, I can never remember which of those names is correct.)

I hope I don't have to wire them all by hand in FOSI Source Edits.

I did not have an element in my stylersheet styled as Document. I had made
my top-level element Division 1 (chapter was Division 2). I can't remember
why I was doing that. Surely it was for a bad reason. I haven't yet
uncovered the problem I was fighting by using Division 1 rather than
Document. I'm sure it'll turn up in production when it will be an EMERGENCY.

Oh, and you *must* Compose/PDF. Print Composed to Distiller or PDF Writer
will not work. I don't think Publishing Engine is required.
