There were multiple problems that plagued 'adepters' during the last
week, probably a cascading effect caused by the initial hardware
failure.
IT people in both Ann Arbor and Needham worked together to clear up
these problems. But they're not cleared up unless this message posts
promptly, so this is another test.
Test messages that I sent before Tuesday bounced back to me and never
made it through to the list. I sent a couple of test messages on
Tuesday that came through to the list about an hour ago.
But adepters wasn't down completely. During that time, a few postings
mysteriously made their way through. Ghosts in the machine.

don't have a timetable for the switchover yet.
