Tables in 5.3, Wrapping

Hopefully this is an easy one.

In 5.1, our tables used to keep indents to a minimum, or at very least wrap
text. 5.3 seems to show this in one big column.

For example in 5.1, columns would look something like this (hopefully my
text-editor paste will work in rich email):

| [li> |
|[pa> * Some |
| text goes |
| here and |
| wraps |

Yet in 5.3, it looks as follows:

| [pa> * |

| o|
| m|
| e|

Is there any setting to make wrapping work more like it did in 5.1?

Keith,

You may want to check and see if in the table cells the internal spacing has been changed. Just drew a total blank on the word I'm looking for sorry.

Check your cell margins that may be different than in 5.1.

I am testing 5.3 and I have noticed spacing differences in the table from 5.2,larger post space in the rows.

Does anybody have suggestions of how I might be able to modify my FOSI to get rid of that extra space? I haven't seen anything obvious in the FOSI, that I inherited.

Hi Ellen,

If there isn't a style set reused on e-i-c's related to table or row elements, I recommend checking the environment variables for cell margins.

Help 6637 describes the APTTBLCELLMARGB environment variable, where the value reflects the amount of post space applied to each table cell.

Inheriting a FOSI can be tough. 😉
