Hmmm... maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying. If I hit the dash key three times I get three dashes. I tried Ctrl-dash (which entered a hyphen--didn't look at the back-code) and Alt-dash (nada). What am I missing?JamesOn 12/13/06, Paul Nagai <-> wrote:> Normally, not in a table that is, when you type a dash from your keyboard

Editor 5.2 cycles through emdash, endash, dash if you repeatedly press
the dash key. In a table, the cycle is inexplicably reversed. dash,
endash, emdash. At least that's how it's working for me.
We have, so far as I know, not attempted to modify dash behavior. I
seem to recall discussions about ways to change the default behavior,
but not the details of what is possible or how to achieve it.
