touchup _newline not working in v7 gentext, but is working in v5.4

Hello everyone,

I have an issue whereby the pub _newline markup is not coming through in my output.

It is placed within an element that is hidden and pulled through into a gentext table.

The funny thing is, it was working some time ago,... and IS working in the v5.4 output (i have the same fosi cleaned up to use in v5.4) ...

I'm not sure what I've changed that it doesn't now have effect in v7.

The .dcf looks ok (touchup is yes) ... anything else I should be checking?

We have seen the same type of issue using _hardspace in titles, then not having it show up in the xref and TOC. We have submitted a case to PTC for our isues.
