usetext construction rules for markup with attributes

Hello all,

I am working the same export process I was working earlier, and John has
gotten me much closer to my objective, but I have one last hurdle.

My previous construction rule for my usetext with the userule=1 was as
follows...

\<mru-info section="\,section.txt,\" sub="\,sub.txt,\"<br"/>mru="\,mru.txt,\">,pages.app,\</mru-info>\

Writing out the markup data as literal strings not only causes all "<" chars
to be written out as <, but the external doc also loses the OID "context"
(it cannot find an OID for <mru-info>).

In order for me to use oid funcs against the external file, I need to
rewrite as follows:

!<mru-info section="section.txt" sub="sub.txt"<br"/>mru="mru.txt">!,pages.app,!</mru-info>!

Unfortunately, using the "elements with attribute values" syntax for a
construction rule, I cannot find any method for doing stringvar
substitution. Is there a way to do this, or am I pretty much resigned to
doing "find"s on all the info I need?

"Reports that say something hasn't happened are always interesting to me,
because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we
know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there
are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the
ones we don't know we don't know."
