Hello, I'm trying to make a winch with a epicyclic gear and a ratchet pawl (se the attached picture).
I want the pawl to move along the heels on the ratchet, but also be able to move away so the winch can freewheel.
The pawl is attached with a pin constraint, and If i do an additional slot constraint, with a datum curve along the ratchet, the pawl moves as i want but it is not able to lift from the curve.
I have also tried to do a cam follower in mechanism and everything seems fine until i try to move the assembly. Then the pawl just stands still and doesn't move as it is supposed to do. I attached a spring but it didn't help.
How would you do this?
