Diferences in speed for different Pro/e licences? ???
hey people this is Alfonso,, I did find out how to show skeletons... you need a pro/assembly licence.. good thing is that once the skeletons are shown on a drawing you don't need the pro/assembly licence anymore... but to my new question here.
We have an Advanced licence that I use all the time and this week I've been using the Pro/process licence that we have and also a flex3 licence. I've noticed that they are slow as hell. My computer is fast 2.4GHZ 1gig of ram, a fast gig ethernet conection to intralink server etc etc. my advanced licence can open big 1.8 gig assemblies fine, takes a little to load but I can handle them fine. On the other hand the other licences make Pro/e jerky, stuff dissapear and apears back after a few seconds, drawigs flicker when you go over them with the mouse etc etc...
what is the difference? Can the licence type enable certain pro/e features that can make this phenomenon happen? I can't take this anymore, and the others in the team are the ones using slower machines and the slower licences, I can't believe they don't shut down their computers and just do photoshop drawings or drawings by hand or something. Pro/e__incert bad word here__ sucks most of the time. can't they use our load of money for actual programming???
