Different libraries in Intelligent Fastener IFX extensions

I like the way IFX works, but what is the right library to use? In the drop down menu I have:

mm

mm-iso

mm-HV

mm-Fine

inch

inch-structural

ANSI-ENGLISH

ANSI-METRIC

ISO

JIS

Holo-Krome

If I want to insert a hex socket head cap screw (ISO-4762) I can use both "mm-iso" or "ISO", the former looks "newer" but only lists down to M4 screws, the latter seems older (parts created with this still have legacy features) but at least it allows me to use down to M1.6 screws.

Is there a difference in the way IFX operates with regards to different library used? Is one library "better" than the other? Or should I just stick to "ISO" that has all the sizes I need?

Hi,

do you use the free or the paid version of IFX?

In the paid version you can customize your library parts by adding new sizes.

In the free version you only can remove unused fasteners/sizes from your library. Or you can create your own catalog by using the existing fasteners.

Which parts you want to use depends on your needs. All parts in IFX can be used.
