Highlighting model on screen

Highlighting model on screen

All,

I have an assembly that has a complex sub-assemby patterned many times. Every time I select the pattern feature in the model tree, ithighlights every instance of that pattern on the screen. That process takes forever!

Is there a way to have pro/e nothighlight on the screenwhat you select in the model tree?

Thanx,

Andy

In the model tree select tree

Uncheck highlight model

May have to right click to get that option if modeltree is attached to
you model window.

In the Tools/Options menu set prehighlight to No.

RE: Highlighting model on screen

I have tried both of those, but I still get the highlighting.

The preselect highlighting is for selecting items on the screen. I does not control the model tree behavior from what I can tell.

The model tree suggestion (Show--Highlight Model)seemed like what I was after, and the help tip that comes up for the option is "Selected model tree itemswill/will not highlight in graphics area". I though that is what I wanted, but the model still turns red when it select it in the model tree. I tried it with the option checked and un-checked, and I get the same result.

Seems like a bug to me, any thoughts?

Thanx,

Andy
