J-Link: How to Determine the current drawing model

With J-Link.

I have a drawing in session which contains several models: PARTS and/or ASSEMBLIES

I would like to determine which is the current drawing model and then if it's a part or an assembly.

With "Models solids = drawing.ListModels()" I can have all the models but I don't know which is the current one !

Thanks in advance and best regards

RE: J-Link: How to Determine the current drawing model

I believe this information is stored in the drawing views.

Perhaps you can use the method Model2D.GetSheetBackgroundView() or the Model2D.List2DViews() to get hold of the view. And thereafter The View2D.GetModel() to get the model for that view.

I have not tried this myself but this is probably the first thing I would try if I needed the functionality.

Good Luck!

J-Link: How to Determine the current drawing model

Delley,
It is not possible to determine the active drawing model through J-Link in
either WF2 or WF3.
