Line display incorrect when assembly interference

Lines are not displaying correctly when there is interference between
parts. The example shown has blatant interference. But sometimes it
happens when two items just touch. (see attachment) Is this common
and is there a cure?

I saw that problem twice and did not find any real solution (small gap
between parts is not real solution).

You might try checking the accuracies of the parts. If they don't match, there can be problems.

Mark,

Unfortunately the only real cure for this is to eliminate the interference.

The problem occurs because when two parts are occupying the same space, ProE has no way to determine

which part is "in front of" the other part. As such it can't properly execute the hidden line removal.

It is an old issue.

It was never fixed, because it's an engineer's problem, not a marketing one...
