Pull part parameters into an assembly

I have a sheet metal start part that uses a bunch of parameters to drive the information into our drawing title blocks and also some notes - Title, Drawn By, Rev, Material, Thickness. . . I've got that to work.

The problem I'm having is getting this information to be used when the sheet metal part is made into an assembly - ie. adding PEMs, and placed in a drawing.

You can make relations based on part parameters in your assembly.

Use the parameter dialog in relations to find the appropriate field from the lower level part.

In the above case, I made a new assembly drawn_by relation based on the part's drawn_by parameter. Now the format will pick up this data from the assembly.
