SMUG (Southwest Michigan Users Group) - Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to the efforts put forth in Wednesday's SMUG meeting.

The hands on demo of Flexible Modeling was very well done.

Also had four great presentations later in the day.

My take aways for the day were the following:

1. The different Lite modules that are standard with Creo &/or WF5:

a. Simulate Lite

b. AFX (EFX - WF5) Advanced Framework Extension - up to 20 components and 10 fasteners.

c. Manikin Lite (1 human model, but cannot be saved in design)

d. FreeStyle - (subdivision modeling) - not available in WF5**

2. Being able to click on the assembly constraint icon versus having to go to the placement tab. Many of you probably already knew this, but it was an extra for me.

Thanks for all the work of the people setting it up and those that presented.

Thanks, Dale

Hi Dale,

It was good to meet you at the SMUG meeting on Wednesday.

It was helpful for our group to attend this meeting. The presentations were great, but it was also very valuable for our group to talk with other pro engineer users.

We hope to attend again in October. We'd like to connect with others who have similar hurdles to what we encounter and share ideas.

We are still struggling to get our feet with Creo; that's why we can see the SMUG meeting as a valuable resource with the people and presenters.
