Summary - Publish Geometry

First of all, thanks to all who replied. The expertise of those on this
board is invaluable!

It looks like there are a few different ways to do this...

I started out by creating the surface features in the assembly and then
exporting them to a new part using Publish Geometry -> Copy Geometry. Your
responses helped me complete this process.

The other way I could have done it was to assemble the new part into the
assembly and create all of the surface features in the part. The advantage
of this method is that there is no need for Publish -> Copy.

I found that one advantage of Puplish -> Copy is that you can solidify in
chunks. In my case, I solidified the primary volume and then removed the
material of the internal components by solidifying them by cutting away
instead of adding material. This has worked out very well.

Thanks,

Erik
