can I create This Mechanism using Pro/E?

Dear Simulation Gurus,

I am working with an Assembly of a conveyor...There are 3 conveyers

connected to each other with are moving at diff speed. I.e say first

conveyer is moving at a velocity of 2m/s, second at 4m/s and third at

6m/s....This is an assembly for a packaging machine so i need to move the

product (box) on these conveyors. How can i define the connection between

the conveyors and the box so that the box will move at the same speed of the

conveyors....means starting with 2m/s and will end at 6m/s.

If you need any more clarification, let me know.

Thanks In Advance,

Dharmesh.

Re: can I create This Mechanism using Pro/E?

Dear Dharmesh,

The way to simulate this situation is to use cams with lift-off and

friction. Make a cam between the box and each of the belts, three in

total. Enable friction and gravity and carry out a dynamic analysis. The

box should transfer from one belt to the next. It it doesn't then you may

need to adjust the speeds of the belts.

Hope this helps,
