setting ownership

Does anyone know the process to set the ownership of a component so that
it can not be moved? I would like to lock a connector in position in the
board assembly so that only MCAD can move it.

Re: setting ownership

Hi Ron,

I'm not shure but I don't think its possible to set the owner attribute of
a component. As far as I know the idf spec does not give this opportunity.
So it's only logical that proe does not give you the opportunity in the
first place.
