What are your business Initiatives related to CAD (e.g. MBD, Generative Design, Additive…)

1. Weight Rollup in Creo Parametric with Weight Attribute Management and Data transfer to the enterprise using WTPart Technology with the Windchill Lightweight PVZ representation always showing the latest metadata within a positioning assembly structure.
   • I need to be able to "build" family tables when the designated weight attribute is modified in Windchill on the WTPart.  (Currently, PTC does not have Build of Family Tables built in)
2. Visualization in the enterprise with the lightweight representations published from Windchill.  Basically enabling for more users downstream to look at the 3d truck data.  Using the PVZ files for Service, Marketing, generation of Step files, A/R experiences in Engineering and outside engineering.
3. Still looking for the best solution(other than simp reps) to manage options and variances on large overloaded cad assembly structures.

Upgrade to latest version.  Move from Model Manager to WindChill.

1) Improved technical documentation using native Creo content when creating assembly instructions, technical literature.  Existing tool (IsoDraw) needs to export toolsets (specifically 2D tools) to the Creo Illustrate environment.  Illustrate isn't a complete tool and IsoDraw lacks 3D functionality

2) Cross functional capabilities to expand Windchill and Creo Parametric enterprise wide between sister companies in disparate locations.  In particular, working with files generated by other CAD systems

3) Expanded EBOM/MBOM capabilities between Windchill/Creo and ERP systems

Move to a newer version of PTC Creo without hampering the user with 'bloatware' functionality that they will not use.

We are trying to build our knowledge base as it relates to MBD. There's a desire to move this way but it would be great if there were guided steps offered. We've seen multiple demonstrations on GD&T Advisor but there's so much more to learn.
