Automatically skip revisions I O Q S X and Z

Automatically skip revisions I O Q S X and Z

Based on ASME standards for revising (and I believe MIL-spec) I'm surprised there's not an option to skip revision letters "I" "O" "Q" "S" "X" and "Z"  when using alphabetic revision schemes.

I think the rest of these rules are already part of the alphabetic revision scheme (though I've never even come close to a revsion of YY, so have never bothered to check):

a)The first revision level (after initial release) is identified by the upper case letter "A".

b) Letters "I" "O" "Q" "S" "X" and "Z"  are never used.

c) Upon exhaustion of the alphabet, revisions are identified by letters "AA", "AB", "AC", etc.

d) Revision letters shall not exceed two characters.

Perhaps an attribute something like <InvalidMajorCharacters> in the Options section?

I think that this is a good enhancement.

We have a couple of customers for whom we have had to write bespoke java code for.  Would be great if there was an Exclude Rev option.

That requirement should be a standard one supported by PTC.

But the restrict set of chars should be defined at class level, not at option level; since revision management could be different from class to class.
