In the past (till Version 17) we used an old Iges-export ((activate-iges_3d) in pesd_startup) to export curves and surfaces for FE calculation - without problems.
Now, in Version 19, that export is not possible (Case C13356596).
So we have to gather curves or surfaces (from solids) at first and export with the common (newer) iges-export.
Disadvantages:
1. Additional step - before we were able to select curves and surfaces directly from the solids. Possible, but more costs.
2. Sometimes small areas of geometrie (campfer, radius ...) are destroyed.
3. The boundary curves of surfaces always only one curve, independend of the shape. For example a rectangular surface should have 4 boundary curves, but there is only one. Problem in FE calculation is that no correct meshing is possible.
No solution for point 2 and 3 - so work is not possible (in the moment we still use version 17).
New (old) idea: Please create a iges export for curves and surfaces - like before.
