The ZIP function integrated in Modeling should become faster.
If you observe the task manager during the PKG save process or during the automatic backup, you will notice that Modeling works only less than the half the time of the save process. The rest of the time a ZIP.exe is working.
If you now unpack a pkg file and repack it with different ZIP tools, you will notice that the zip.exe integrated in Modeling is the slowest.
Example: a 304MB large PKG file:
Modeling zip: 40s
PKZIP 2.5 (from 1998!): 26s
7-zip 7z.exe (-mx1 option): 17s
WinZip wzzip.exe (-en option): 6s
Please improve the compression tool so that users do not have to wait so long during automatic backup of a large amount of data.
