We would like to extend the flexibility of administrating the visibility of records.
We would like an Admin function in the MM Admin Standalone client, that would allow a MM administrator to import a list of records (Masterdata) for which user(s)\group(s) within a project can\cannot see. This "Admin GUI" could also extend to modification of visibility of records, i,e, adding or removing a user\group to the visibility of a record(s) that has already been imported.
As an example, a global site designs a product in Model Manager. Each site is already configured as a 'Project' (making this difficult to create a 'product' project). Upon production of a new product, the Design Office will establish which sites will manufacture which parts, and apply 'visibility' of these parts to the relevant sites. Multiple sites may have access to the same records.
The benefit of working within a generic ootb Model Manager Admin GUI, would make the administration of this production phase much more efficient to deliver.
