If STEP files are imported to Creo Elements/Direct Modeling via the STEP Granite intrerface

part names are truncated to a length of 26 characters and

assembly names are truncated to a length of 31 characters.

Our cutomers needs more than 31 characters for part and assembly names. 

Please change it.  Thanks!

 

P.S. The solution in the PTC CS107200 document  "Use the Creo Elements/Direct Modeling STEP Direct interface to maintain full part- and assembly name length" doesn´t work, because we also have to import/export containers with its full name.
