Today, it is impossible to make change to a library part from ModelManager, whatever the access right the user have.

There are cases where it is necessary to make a change :

- Type mismatch in the table of the standard library parts (screws, nuts, ...).

- Changes in the Company library parts.

- ...

Members of a special groug (eg LibraryAdmin) should be able tomake change to a library part from ModelManager.

I have the same issue in Windchill Pdmlink.

We need to change weight of library parts but if they are just checked in Windchill it is not possible, not part of functionality.
