The icon of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Model Manager

The icon bitmap of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling and Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager are same.

And our customer often makes a mistake,

He selects Creo Elements/Direct Modeling icon from "Windows Task Bar" in spite of he needs Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager.

You may need to change the icon of Creo Elements/Direct Model Manager.

Not sure why this is?  If the link is copied and pasted into a browser, it seems ok?

If anybody can point me where i have gone wrong in adding the link, I would apprecitate.

If you click on the link, the adress becomes:

you have to change it in:

then it works.

Thanks for the pointer - I think that the response editor must change the link - i have tested your link and that also fails, with a similar "Duplicating" of details:-

Frustrating - ah well, if you can search on the title - "Drawing Manager Icon to be different to Drafting Icon in Task Bar" - i hope that'll be enough.

You have to change the adress in the explorer

I voted "pro" having different Icons provided by the OOTB product.

However, you don't need to wait for a future release (or forever?), since the icon of the application can be changed by some customizing.

One working example are Power Extensions of INNEO, where all applications (Modeling, Drafting, Annotation, Model Manager) have their

dedicated "PowerEx icon" which is shown in the U/I of the application *and* in the Taskbar.

new icons have been provided with Creo Elements/Direct 20.5
