My Idea:
MELS should be Windows comliant when maintaining user names to grant licences for dedicated users. This feature is needed for example when using the SAP integration which asks for named users or if you want to reserve special licenses for persons. In Windows user names are case insensitive, but MEls handles the user names case sensitive. Depending how you log on to windows, you can acces a license or not.
Actually this behaviour is based on the old implementation under HP-UX where user names have been case sensitive. Now in a Windows world the administration is not save and causes lots of problems.
To my point of view this is rather a defect than an idea, but maybe it's a good idea to resolve this defect.
