PTC closed the case linking to the article CS201935 (not part of functionality), then I found an Idea, 475982, and I voted it. Now I see that it was archived, I have to create a new one. This one.
The request is to have a way to change some things in Windchill for PartLibrary parts.
Now users have to copy the part, to change it and to substitute it where it is used...very lost of time and resources. 4. What is the use case for your organization? Change a material for a library part just saved in Windchill, then change the density. 5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization? Less time lost for cad users is more business for the company.
