When a Configuration was created with a Captured Drawlist and a new part is moved into the owner assembly when the Configuration is inactive the part is going to be hidden when the Configuration is re-activated 

 

The product idea is a setting to change the behavior so that the added parts are shown.

3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
4. What is the use case for your organization?
5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?

 

I would also encourage you to take a look at this post about the ideas in general, as well as some guidance from PTC executives regarding the role of the product managers and role of the ideas for the product roadmaps.
