Today there is no reasonable possibility to create solid geometry of cables or harness parts.

PTC only refers to a workaround by using other data exchange formats:

But this workaround breaks the parametrization and thereby is not a preferred solution.

PTC should provide a better possibility (parametric) to create solid geometry of cables/harness parts!

This would also be helpful for MBD. Currently we have no way of adding cabling to the surface references of an Annotation Element in an Annotation Feature. This means that we can't make selecting an annotation in a Creo View Export highlight the referenced harness, which goes against the idea of query and visual response.
