How can I convert commercial .prt files to academic .prt files?
I am using the academic version of Creo 2.0, and I downloaded a .prt that was made in a commercial version of Creo (not sure which version).
It says
"The file 1001_15_cl.prt was created with a commercial version of Creo Parametric and is not compatible with the version of Creo Parametric you are running."
The best you can do is have the file converted to a STEP file if that works for you.
If you attach the file to the post, someone can probably convert it to STEP for you if you have no other way to do this.
