Extracting a part from JT assembly.

I have an assembly in JT format. Is it possible to extract a single part from the assembly?

I thought of deleting rest of the parts except the one I want and then open in Creo/NX but doesn't seem to work that way. Is there way to do so?

P.S. I have the JT to Creo conversion plug-in.

Not even Data Doctor can affect facet files.

You likely need the reverse engineering extension to manipulate anything in a facet file.

however, is a .JT file ASCII?  I know I use to edit .WRL files to remove components.

They are grouped nicely for dissection.
