I wanted to follow up with my posting (below) on this topic to tell everyone that is interested, if you don't already know, that the Wildfire 5 What's New (Release Notes) document has been posted on the PTC website.
Now that this is available, and everyone has some reference material to all the enhancements in Wildfire 5, hopefully you can see beyond just the interface changes that have been made, and get a sense of some of the functionality improvements I mentioned below.
I hope to be reading more postings on the exploder about WF5 soon, even about the interface, because your postings/discussions help me and other TC Chairs push PTC for continuous improvements to PRO/E.
