WHAT IS SKELETON MODEL?
3 REPLIES 3

Heather, Skeletons are parts/sub assemblies that contain curves, points, surfaces that drive the overall design of the product. These are then used as references for creating the whole product. T The basic uses are: 1) Use top down design approach. 2) Space claim for the assemblies ,parts. 3) Motion interference prediction. 4) Avoid assembly issues when using the bottom up approach. Also Pro/E help has a lot more in the Advanced assembly section.Below is a link for the same help page: http://proe.ippd.ufl.edu/wildfire/html/usascii/proe/aax/about_skeleton_models.htm Rameet
