Import ACAD 2000 DWG

Users-

I know it can be done, because I did it before, but now I cannot open a native AutoCAD DWG file in Wildfire. The file was created in ACAD 2004, but is saved as R14, yet when I go to File->Open, nothing shows up except for the DWG I exported from ProE.
