Nina, It may or may not meet your needs, but after you start a sketch you can uncheck Intent Manager in the Sketch drop down menu. This brings up the older menu driven system which does not do as much automatically with constraints, etc. You need to be familiar with a slightly different sketching methodology, however. David
You can add the following to your config.pro file: sketcher_auto_create_refs 0 This will not preselect references. By changing the 0 to 1, the sketcher will preselect one reference ... etc. David
Nina, There are two ways to do what you want: 1.) While in a sketch, select SKETCH - OPTIONS from the pull-down menus. Then select the CONSTRAINTS tab and unselect whichever constraints you do not want to be automatically applied. 2.) Automatic constraints can also be turned off by entries in the config.pro file. Entries such as SKETCHER_EQUAL_LENGTH_CONST NO.
