I have a round flat plate with a certain thickness. I also have a small round sketch somewhere on top of that plate. I'm trying to apply pressure load just inside the small sketch area (perpendicular to the big plate) but I do not succeed to do that since it is impposible to choose the sketch while appling the pressure load. Please advice.

Insert>Surface Region This allows you to split the surface and apply pressure to the small area.

Thanks Andrew but I do not have this option under Insert/Pressure load dialod box. I have only Individual,Surf Options & Part Boundary. Ron.

You cannot do this whilst defining the load. You have to define the surface region firdt, then define the load.

Many thnaks Andrew, it works now.
