Outlook proe user question

Proe Users,

This is actually an Outlook question. With the new reply to list
functionality I receive an email every 2 minutes. I have a "beep" sound
occur when I receive an email. I have a rule that filters all proe user
emails to a folder. Is there a way with Outlook to make the "beep" not occur
when I receive a proe user email but occur with all other emails? I don't
want to stop what I'm doing every 2 minutes to check a proe user email.

Thank you

I think the beep is an all or nothing situation.

This worked perfectly!

Ryan,

You can turn off the beep for all emails and create a rule for non-proe
emails so that you get pop-up (create rule->"notify me using a specific
message"). I find it very effective. I'm only notified of important
emails and I check newsgroup emails at my leisure.

This is how rules can be setup. Pretty easy.
