Pro-E <-> Microsoft products

I am looking to automate some of the data entry processes with our company. We curretnly have a wide array of word documents and excel spreadsheets using variations of the same set of data (project numbers, customer details, job ratings, etc).

I can combine these into a database application fairly easily, but I am strugglign to find the best way, or just any way at all, of importing this information into Pro-E. I'd like to use the data in title blocks, and also as the text on a rating plate that we draw up in Pro-E to send to manufacturers for laser etching.

Any tips would be appreciated.

If it's just MS office files and non-relational file objects - checkout
SharePoint (WSS) - www.microsoft.com/sharepoint

It's free and it's like INTRALINK for MS office.

J-Link would be a possibility. Programming skills are required, though.
