STL Import

Hi to all,

I am on Pro E/P 5.0

Is there a way to import and convert an STL file to a solid? Without any expensive extra modules?

I was under the impression that there was a "Granite" mode to do that : does that ring a bell to anyone?

I found a product from SYCODE online but it doesn't work with my Element/Pro 5 version : I guess these guys stopped developping this product after WF 5.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Do NOT import STL files, you will get faceted garbage. Get a STEP or (Ugh!) IGES file.
