Simplified Reps

Hello,

Can I create a simplified rep by combining 2 or more other simplified reps?  Perhaps using rules?  Thank you.

Are you talking part or assembly simp reps? And I assume you have one model with two reps in it that you want to create a third rep and use the results from the other two reps? Or are you talking about an assembly rep in which you want to use a simp rep from a component or sub-assy?

Dan,

I was referring to assembly simp reps.  Correct, I have one large assembly with several simp reps and I want to create another rep by combining 2 or more existing reps.

Nope not that I am aware of.

David's right, no straight forward way to do it.

You can add columns to the model tree that shows the status of various simp reps and then use that as a guide to combine the two. But these will not be associative/dependent and if you have lots of components in the assembly it will be tedious to create.
