Does anyone know of a way to have a command which automatically switches the view to the predefined view which you are closest to?
Thanks
I think you need to define your question a little more, please ![]()
If I read your question right, in 3D modeling, you want the view to "snap" to an orthographic orientation that you have almost achieved with dynamic rotation of the view. If this is the case, you can mapkey your -Orientation- IU and pick a pair of planes or faces to quickly orient your part. This would give you the fastest way to snap to your desired orientation.
I like the idea, however. That would be a unique enhancement if PTC is listen to new ideas. I haven't seen this in any other platform that I have experience with.
that would be very easy to script if PTC had easier tools. ![]()
